Thirteen years ago, at the age of nine, I was separated from my parents and siblings and placed in the foster care system. This loss affected me in unimaginable ways.

I have since dedicated my life to rebuilding the foster care system and over time, transformed my suffering into storytelling. What began as sociopolitical art pieces, became a representation of my whole being, in which I convey important messages as fragments of myself. Through these vulnerable narratives, I have discovered my identity.

Now, in honor of National Foster Care Month, I invite you to join me on a discovery 13 years in the making.
