For more than two decades, Josh was woven into the life of Peace4Kids. He and his wife, Susan, were dedicated volunteers, and Josh later served for several years on our Board of Directors. Their children, Hannah and Joseph, also volunteered, making Peace4Kids a meaningful part of their family’s story.
A Lesson We Still Carry
Rather than asking, “Do you have any questions?” Josh encouraged us to ask:
“What questions do you have?”
And then wait seven full seconds for the answer.
It was a simple practice that reflected who Josh was: patient, thoughtful, open, and genuinely interested in what others had to share. We were reflecting on this lesson just last week! Such a beautiful reminder that his wisdom remains present in our community.
We love you, Josh. Thank you for your friendship, wisdom, generosity, and many years of service. You will always be part of the Peace4Kids family. 🧡
