We offer both in-person and virtual Volunteer Info Sessions to make it easier to take your first step into the Peace4Kids community. Whether you join us onsite or by Zoom, you’ll learn what “Community as Family” really means, connect with our team, and explore whether Peace4Kids feels like the right fit for you.
Joining us in person? You’ll also have the opportunity to experience our community firsthand and see the energy of a Peace4Kids Saturday in action.
At Peace4Kids, volunteers are more than helpers - they are trusted, consistent adults who bring stability, healing, and joy to youth in foster care. By showing up as co-regulators and long-term community members, volunteers help create spaces where young people can thrive.
Whether you're exploring how you'd like to give back, or simply curious, this is a low-pressure space to connect, reflect, and learn.

Complete a volunteer application – helps us get to know you.

Volunteer Logistics Training – a half-day session to learn the ropes (and volunteer alongside us).

HAVS Foundational Training – two online evenings exploring how we build relationships with youth.
